Two ways to add a cover

  1. The tidy way. Put your JPEGs in assets/covers/ in the site zip, then type /assets/covers/your-file.jpg in the cover field. Best quality, smallest files. Aim for 1000 × 1500 pixels.
  2. The fast way. Use Upload an image. The picture is embedded directly in books.js, so it works with nothing but the downloaded file. Keep each one under 500 KB or the file gets heavy.

Note: this page is not password protected. Anyone who finds the URL can open it, though they cannot change your live site — edits only exist in their own browser until someone uploads a new books.js. To lock it anyway, put a Cloudflare Access policy on /editor in your Pages project.
